Sobell Foundation Renovates the Etgar Center

The Etgar Center tends to the needs of adults with severe physical disabilities such as Polio, CP, MS, ALS, CVA, brain tumors and amputations resulting from diabetes. The Sobell Foundation recently awarded another generous grant for further renovations at the Etgar Center for adults with severe physical disabilities in Netanya.

After approving an initial grant for renovations of the gymnasium in the Center, UK Sobell Foundation Trustee Mrs. Gaie Scouller visited the Center in February 2013.

Mrs. Scouller showed concern that the adults had difficulty entering the various rooms throughout the building with their wheelchairs.  She subsequently decided to fund the widening of the doorways, the replacement of the lighting fixtures and additional renovations and remodeling of the entrance of the building.

The Etgar Center also copes with quality of life areas such as social, psychological and intellectual needs.

Community Art Project

We are proud to collaborate with the men and women of Etgar Center through art and creativity, this project allows these inspiring individuals to express their talent and emotions.  Participants in the art classes in Etgar made these beautiful art pieces, every item 100% handmade and one of a kind (we have only one of each in stock).
