Netanya Hoops for Kids

Netanya Hoops For Kids pairs Barak Netanya professional basketball players with after school programs for at risk youth, giving children the opportunity to create real relationships and learn from their role models. The program works with 12 after school programs twice a month over the course of the basketball season. The program focuses on teaching life skills such as communication, teamwork, goal setting, discipline, and healthy life styles.

Netanya Hoops For Kids (NHK) has contributed over 3,000 tickets for children from Netanya to attend Barak Netanya basketball games. NHK has launched its 2011-2012 ticket campaign giving people in Netanya and around the world the opportunity to become part of our community and donate tickets. Children who attend the games have the opportunity to come down to the court and participate in team introductions with the players.
