Intensive Care Ambulance for Laniado Hospital

Laniado Hospital has no means for transporting its patients. Magen David Adom (MDA) in Netanya is on high security alert since 1999 and obliged to respond quickly in case of an emergency. The ambulance owned by Laniado Hospital has been out of order for a year now.

The need for an Ambulance is urgent, as the Hospital can't transport patients to other facilities within Israel.

Emergency Ambulances, provided with special medical equipment, play a major role in evacuating patients to and from the hospital. The ambulances are staffed by physicians and emergency paramedics, treatment can be administered en route to nearby medical centers greatly increasing survival rate and reducing the likelihood of further trauma. The Ambulance will be exclusively in use of Laniado Hospital.

Sanz Medical Center–Laniado Hospital is the only hospital in the Netanya region, and it offers its services to over 250,000 people. The medical center opened in 1976 as a maternity clinic. One by one, other departments were inaugurated, including internal medicine, ophthalmology, pediatrics, surgery, ENT, intensive care, gynecology, dialysis, hematology, gastroenterology, oncology, angiography, and orthopedics.

The medical center uses the most modern methods: its instruments, equipment, and expert staff have given the Sanz Medical Center its reputation as one of the leading hospitals in Israel. Next to the medical center, a number of out-patient clinics serve the local residents. These include clinics for gynecology, pediatrics, orthopedics, surgery, neurology, ophthalmology, ENT, and cardiology.
