The mission of "Titi's Project" is to keep the children off the street who live in Azorim neighborhood in Netanya and to enable them to participate in educational after-school enrichment activities.
Laniado Hospital has no means for transporting its patients. Magen David Adom (MDA) in Netanya is on high security alert since 1999 and obliged to respond quickly in case of an emergency. The ambulance owned by Laniado Hospital has been out of order for a year now. The need for an Ambulance is urgent, as the Hospital can't transport patients to other facilities within Israel.
There are thousands of less fortunate people and families, living in poverty, who lack basic provisions. When their children open the fridge, they see only bare shelves.
In today's harsh financial climate, which is further aggravated by cutbacks in social security stipends, there was an incline in the number of families requiring financial assistance and support for purchasing basic needs such as: clothing and shoes, glasses, dental treatment, school books and supplies.
The Warm Nest for Girls provides daily support and guidance. The girls experience positive group cooperation, get hands on home economic skills, and assume responsibility for their community.
The families of many of these children can only send their hopes and blessings, since they cannot afford to provide basic school supplies. Imagine the shame of a child that arrives on the first day of school without a bag, writing utensils or notebooks. How can we expect this child to succeed?
The music scholarship program is fundamental in bringing children from a low socio-economic background to the conservatory and providing them the opportunity to study music at a high level.
The center is specifically serving the youth in the eastern part of the city, as it is the second studio of its kind. There will be space for small concerts, practice rooms, spots to hang out with friends, and it's very own top of the line recording studio! So, whether a seasoned musician or looking to get started, there is a spot for everyone.
Bar and Bat Mitzvah
Give the opportunity for at-risk students to study music. The Netanya Conservatory, Musical Educational Center, supervised by the Ministry of Education, sees integration through music as one of its leading missions.
A program that works directly with the Division I professional basketball team, Barak Netanya, to serve the at-risk you in the community. Basketball clinics that focus on team building and life skills are run weekly with players from the Barak Netanya team volunteering twice a month.
A program designed to educate young children to be environmentally conscious. The school staff will be “emissaries” of the environment and dedicated to teaching its young students a strong sense of ecological awareness. The students will work at the gardens, take care of the plants and learn about the importance of keeping the environment safe.
A program that provides a proper Bar/Bat Mitzvah celebration for low-income children and their families from Netanya. Give those youngsters the opportunity to celebrate adulthood and Mitzvah age like any other Jewish kid.
Much of the Netanya youth are kids of immigrants who live below the poverty line. Many of their basic needs are not met, including having the right supplies to be successful in school
