Renovation of the Tchernichowsky School Auditorium
Thanks to the generous support of Oded Rudawsky and his sister, Nitזa Shay, in memory of their parents, Netanel and Rachel Rudawsky, the Tchernichowsky School auditorium was fully renovated - creating a modern and inspiring space for students and the entire school community.
The auditorium at Tchernichowsky School, originally built in the 1980s, had served generations of students but, over time, became outdated and no longer met the evolving educational and community needs of the school. Recognizing the importance of a high-quality learning environment, a comprehensive renovation project was undertaken.
The project was made possible through the generous support of Oded Rudawsky and his sister, Nitza Shay, who chose to honor the memory of their parents - Netanel Rudawsky z”l, a distinguished citizen of Netanya, and Rachel RudawskyTanal Rudavsky z”l, one of the city’s first teachers. Sadly, Oded passed away before the renovation was completed and did not have the chance to see the finished auditorium. His spirit and meaningful contribution, however, continue to be deeply felt in this space.
The renovation included a full upgrade of the auditorium: new seating, modern flooring, an improved stage, and advanced lighting and sound systems - transforming it into a contemporary, welcoming venue. The project was carried out in collaboration with the Netanya Municipality and the school administration.
Today, the renovated auditorium serves as a vibrant hub for the school community, hosting lectures, performances, ceremonies, and a wide range of educational activities. It provides students with an inspiring and respectful environment that supports both learning and personal growth.
