In honor of Layla's Bat Mitzvah, her grandfather generously supported the establishment of a school for gifted children in Netanya. It opened its doors on September 1st, 2017, the first day of this school year.

The School was established in a building that was built in 1972 in Kiryat Nordau. Thanks to the generosity of Mr. Edward Khalily, Layla's grandfather, together with the Netanya Foundation and the Netanya Municipality, the school was renovated from the ground up. Today it is a stimulating and inviting environment for inquisitive young minds which together with a unique curriculum will help them realize their potential and develop their individual gifts.
